Our basic fee for restoration and retouching is $40 per hour ($10.00 per 15 minutes, 30 minute minimum) Photographers, please click here for info regarding our prices for outsource work.

Because every image will have its own specific needs, we give job quotes based on viewing your image and assessing what it will take to get that image looking the way you want it.

Please keep in mind that we send you the digital or CD-ROM files for you to take to the printer. If you choose to print on your own, we will be glad to provide you with a listing of printers where you can take your digital file to be printed.

If you would like us to have the image printed for you, there are additional charges depending on the type and quantity of print you would like. Please inquire about our Print rates.

Just as a basic pricing guideline, keep the following in mind when you are considering submitting an image:

FOR RETOUCHING

If you would like very basic blemish removal (1 -5 small blemishes) and skin smoothing the cost is likely to start at $20.00
If you have an image that needs to have more contrast, the colors need to be brightened, skin needs to be polished and blemishes removed then the cost will be closer to $40
If your image needs ultra glamorizing such as hair filled in or streaked, digital makeup applied, stray hairs tamed, digital liposuction or services of that nature, then the image retouching will be $55 and up.

FOR IMAGE RESTORATION

Basic Restoration: the prices for basic restoration range from $40-$60. A basic restoration would include re-toning a faded image, improving tone and contrast, restoring slight fading, smoothing textured paper and basic image sharpening.

Moderate Restoration: the prices for moderate restoration range from $61-$80. A moderate restoration would include removing creases or bends, replacing background, removing moderate cracks or stains, reconstructing moderate tears or smaller missing areas of body parts or clothing.

Major Restoration: the prices for major restoration are $161 and up. A major restoration would involve major reconstruction of a torn or cracked image, removal of large amounts of cracks and stains as well as the above mentioned repairs in other categories. Major restorations of faces and body parts sometimes require another image to be provided. We will assess your image to see what we need to bring it back to life.

FOR IMAGE MANIPULATION

Removing a person or object is generally $50 and up
Adding a person to an image is $100 and up
Collages are $60 and up
Hand coloring images is $50 and up Converting color images to black and white is $10
Digital artwork (large collages and fantasy art) is done on a per job basis. Please email us with your vision for your image and we will provide you with a quote.

OTHER SERVICES PRICING

Scanning and transferring your images to CD-ROM is:

Archiving/Scanning Images: 1-5 Images: $15 (includes cost of mailing CD-ROM to you) More than 6 images please add $1 per image. We scan your images at 300dpi.

Scanning image for retouching: 1 image free with your job for images up to 8x10. Images larger than 8x10 or slides/tin types are quoted per scan. Please contact us and let us know how big your original image is or if it is in a non-print format and we will quote you a price for scanning.

Enlarging or cropping images: $10 for up to 3 images. Images delivered via email or C-ROM.
